so yeah we're still getting married and everything, and i have actually done plenty of work the last few weeks. but i have nothing to show for it other than a rapidly dwindling savings account and sense of calm before the storm.

beach house deposit and tent fee (omg so expensive for 30x30' tent) sent along with rental application on monday. dress is being picked up and remaining 90% of price debited on saturday (gasp). i decided not to go get it during lunchbreak at work because i can't handle the idea of my 6 months of savings sitting in the backseat of my stinky car in the dark, musty garage where throngs of pernicious dress-snatchers skulk about malevolently. no, i need to go directly home and secure it in some cask of amantillado-esque safe. by which i mean my hall storage closet. behind the air conditioner.
