and back to plan A

hokay, so - now i am back to the original, more sabominator-esque plan of barefoot beach wedding, good brew, good food, lots of friends.

now that we've found out that the beach club in RI will let us BYOB and we don't need to hire a bartender or cops, i'm all about this plan. that means we can have kegs o'plenty of some quality beers, fine wines, and lots of microbrew bottles sitting in kiddie pools of ice and sand, decked out all tropical. i think the tropical thing will end up being the "theme." i mean, can't really have fine linens and china in a beach cabana.

so it's great, we can actually afford this now! i don't need to cut my guest list in half! i can feed everyone bitchin clambake buckets for way cheaper than overcooked veal scallopini or what have you. we can spend more money on good food and drinks and have it all our way; now maybe we can afford a tasty cake, too. i'm still hung up on this ice cream cake idea.

all i need to do is iron out the particulars (e.g. make sure JOP's and caterers will work on whatever sundays are available next season) and then we can set a date. hoo-rah!

i feel better about this than i have in weeks; the stomach knot is gone.
